Sonder is a collaborative publication produced and designed by students at Appalachian State University after visiting a campus-adjacent nature preserve. In an investigation into observing nature to better understand our human experience, concepts such as forgiveness, patience, and the passage of time continued to emerge, yielding a publication that quietly asks for a reader’s time and consideration. As a design and production team member, I played a role in typesetting, layout conceptualization, and final coalition & production.
